UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA SOBRE O CINECLUBE ESPAÇO SOCIAL, CAMPUS III/UEPB (2016-2017)

Abstract

The objective of this work is to report the experience of visual audio exhibition in the extension project entitled Social Space with the cut in the quota 2016-2017 with the title of LATIN AMERICAN CINEMA: reflections on cultures, identities, representations and societies, having been developed on campus III of the State University of Paraíba. Considering the local reality of a marked consumption of films by students during open TV times, we took the initiative to combine our activity with two needs present in our institution: a gap between afternoon and evening classes and the lack of hours to complement the workload in the students' curriculum, although vacancies have also been made available to graduates. The pedagogical dimension starts with the election of a general theme capable of creating entanglements with a bibliographic base, which would create a pedagogical sense, through the reading of texts previously disseminated by the coordinator to the participants for the purpose of a debate at the end of each session. The proposal in question sought the scope of bringing Latin American social problems to the formation of undergraduate students, as the different films have several constructs in the daily life of each of the participants.
