Professionals enrolled in residency programs are exposed to numerous occupational risks that affect their health and quality of life. From this perspective, the project “Bem Viver na URCA collective health residency” represents an alternative to promote comprehensive health for this population, through the use of Integrative and Complementary Health Practices. The objective is to report the experience lived during the course of the “Jornada Bem Viver”. This is an experience report about the extension project entitled “Bem Viver na URCA collective health residency: integrative and complementary practices in promoting the mental health of residents”, with 36 resident professionals assisted by the project. The Journey took place in three stages: Circle of Light, Circle of Peace and Circle of Joy, during the period from April 2022 to February 2023, with integrative practices: guided collective meditation, Mindfulness practices, aromatherapy, Therapy Integrative Community, stretching and breathing exercises, meditative trail, biodance and circular dances. The exercise of the Bem Viver project has provided opportunities for the perception of health through a holistic vision, using Integrative and Complementary Health Practices as an instrument to provide quality of life for residents in the healthcare area.
