Psychology, arts and promotion of new modes of subjectivation

This article contextualizes an extension project implemented at the Center for Studies and Practices in Psychology (CEPPSI), a school-service from Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF). The main objective was to favor changes in modes of subjectivation, and to promote health for users, in addition to developing skills in Psychology students. UNIVASF Professors and students of Psychology and Visual Arts, as well as external collaborators, servers and contractors of CEPPSI, participated in the program. 159 users have been effectively contemplated, participated in individual and group workshops, with activities such as canvas painting, clay, scrap sculpture, photography, model and video production, and puppet theater. Having received positive feedback from users, and a decrease in the waiting list of the school-service, the interventions granted the users new ways of feeling, thinking and acting. And granted the students the development of clinical attitude and listening.
