Construction of Agroecological Knowledge: conceptual issues, constitution and challenges

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the Construction of Agroecological Knowledge seeking to understand the conceptual issues and fundamental principles that constitute this theme. For that, a qualitative bibliographical research was carried out that covered the main references of both agroecology and the construction of knowledge in this scientific field. It is aimed at the consolidation of agroecology as a science, movement and practice and for the emergence, in the last decades, of the notion of Agroecological Knowledge Construction as a search for methodological alternatives that oppose conventional models in the Field of Technical Assistance and and fundamentally theoretical and methodological the elaboration of agroecological knowledge in the interaction between different subjects and in the dialogue between the technical and academic knowledge.
