Extension’s project medicinal plants in primary care health

Abstract

In 2009, was created the Extension’s Project Medicinal Plants in Primary Care Health in ASCES College, this project have an intention of to disseminate across of social actions, the knowledge and the correct use about the medicinal plants, besides distributing saplings produced in medicinal garden located in College. Published two books and diverse scientifi c works achievements of this project are. The methodology utilized for this work are exploratory and the descriptive type, and to stand structure in quality search. After your creation, this project to performed more of 55 social actions, with participation of 84 student of Pharmacy Course that distributed more of 16000 explicative pamphlet, 5250 saplings of medicinal plants and to directly affecting at mean 9806 persons. This project is very important to place actions of promotion an education about the use of medicinal plants in the communities, and operates generating data for scientific-technical production.
