JUGGLING AND LEARNING: THE IMPORTANCE OF HEALTH- RELATED HEALTH ACTIONS FOR THE CHILDREN'S PUBLIC

Abstract

The proposal of this article is to report how educational actions in children health in the units of the New Session Program in Petrolina / PE, linked to the City Hall, through the extension project carried out by Nursing students of the Federal University of the São Francisco Valley. The work was based on active learning, where the child has the autonomy to participate and contribute to their own knowledge, through play activities, focused on health areas, with four phases, general, personal, environmental and environmental health. that promote the health and quality of life of children and, consequently, families and communities. The teaching sessions for the care of children and children at events, demonstrating the effectiveness of the project and contributing to its continuity and dissemination in the units involved.
