Abstract

This work is configured as an experience report as a result of a didactic intervention project developed in the Quilombola community of Salgueiro-PE in the Conceição dos Crioulos site, in the year 2017. Offered by the NGO Cecor. The activity was attended by 42 listeners and beneficiaries of the most productive Pernambuco program of the P1 + 2 project, with the objective of enabling families to have a proper understanding of the semiarid climate. Experience has shown that only with the involvement of families can we ensure the adequate use of technology and the maximization of benefits. The mobilization and awareness process for the coexistence with the semi-arid region and for the maintenance and proper use of the cistern must be inserted in the economic and cultural reality of the families. Therefore, we believe that according to the activities developed with the training (SISMA), the farmers were able to reflect on the conscious use of water.
