Abstract

It is an experience report of the extension interdisciplinary project: “Acordes que Curam” with the participation of students of diverse areas of knowledge. The objectives of the actions are to screen patients in need of specific care, reduce stress levels and stimulating motor and cognitive skills. Then, this is an observational descriptive study with the experiences reported by students since from July/2016 to April/2017. In this approach, the patient autonomy is encouraged, from the choice of music to the format of the intervention as well as the actions promote moments of cultural expression and exercise of citizenship. Therefore, these actions are on according with the National Humanization Policy, because they promote the personal, academic and professional development to all those involved in the process, through more humanized, interdisciplinary, welcoming and sensitive relations to those who need health care.
