Teachers perception of basic education about the health program in the school in Marabá-PA

Abstract

Our objective was to present the perception of basic education teachers about the Health at School Program and its relationship with health education. Workshops were held in two public schools in Marabá with the teachers divided into three stages. First, there was a group dynamic for socialization. In the second moment, the teachers were divided into three groups to make a collage to answer: “what is health at school?”. Then, the PSE policy was presented and explained, so the teachers listed the knowledge and knowledge about health education. Opinions were diversified among the groups, demonstrating some knowledge about the concept of health at school, achieved by school routine and educational practices in schools. Where in the challenges regarding the issue of teaching and learning, they also presented an understanding of health at school with the lived reality. The development of the workshops showed similar realities between schools. Enable expanded visualization of health, give rise to reflections on health problems that will directly result in quality of life and also in the teaching-learning process of students.
