Sexual education aims to promote sexual health and prevent sexual violence. Given its importance, projects on this theme are fundamental for the protection of children and adolescents, especially during the pandemic, when social isolation was a preponderant factor in the increased vulnerability of victims. This work aims to present the results obtained through the actions of the extension project Papo de Calcada, which seeks to stimulate the promotion of educational activities on sexual abuse, sexuality, gender, and health. The project's actions occurred in the face-to-face modality, before the pandemic, as well as remotely during this period. Thus, the face-to-face activities occurred in squares and schools in the municipality of Uauá-BA, in partnership with the Secretariat of Health, between 2018 and 2019, in which conversation wheels were held through participatory pedagogical methods and distribution of self-care kits. The remote activities, held between 2021 and 2022, were carried out via Instagram, with regular publications and lives with experts on the theme. The impact of the remote actions was evaluated by the platform's metrics. The Papo de Calçada project proved to be a fundamental socio-educational tool to promote dialogues about sexuality and health, gender issues and sexual violence, strengthening the university-society relationship.
