BETWEEN REALITY AND IDEALITY: EXPERIENCES IN A SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL SERVICE CENTER IN PERNAMBUCO

It is crucial to examine the challenges faced by psychology students and professionals within the context of the Brazilian socio-educational measures system, in order to highlight possibilities and intervention paths that enable therapeutic actions for the subjects present there. Furthermore, the academy lacks discussions about the subjective experiences that occupy marginalized and stigmatized spaces in society. Thus, this study aims to report the experience of basic internship experienced by fourth-semester Psychology students during the execution of an intervention at the Socio-Educational Service Center (Case) located in the city of Petrolina-PE. With this, we seek to provoke discussions about the effectiveness of socio-educational measures in the state of Pernambuco, in addition to promoting reflections on the possibilities of care within these environments.
