School in the universe art imaginary: The theater at the pedagogical practices corroborating Education Center Urbano Rocha in Imperatriz - MA

Abstract

This article analyzes the extension activities of the project “A School in the Universe Aart Imaginary “, linked to the Research Group Memories, Identities and Cultural Diversity, developed with high school students at the center education for Urbano Rocha – CURE, in the city of Imperatriz, southwest of Maranhão. We worked with these students lectures, exercises playful interaction, rhymes, exercise dubbing, interpreting texts, theatrical and non-theatrical. Pointing to the development and strengthening of the creative, cognitive, physical and artistic potential of students as well as the creation of Co. REinvent’arte Theatre and Performing Arts Show I (Marks) in CURE. The project’s actions go beyond the simple process of learning the theatrical practices and permeates the cultural development of students collaborating to develop a positive result in activities inside and outside the classroom.
