Abstract

It is intended to discuss the experience of the university extension project entitled School in the Campus developed during the year 2016 by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of the Sertão Pernambucano (IF SERTÃO-PE), Campus Ouricuri next to the State Public Schools of the municipalities of this Institute. The objective was to promote a dialogical approach between the Institute and the School Communities, through guided visits of the students, teachers, and other subjects of the State Schools to the IF SERTÃO - Ouricuri campus. For that, pedagogical experiences were realized through systematic activities and related to the different areas of knowledge and scientific dissemination, with the classes of the 9th grade of elementary education II, of the state schools in the IF Campus. It was possible to provide 7 (seven) Campus-oriented visits, which resulted in a greater insertion of the IF into the local community and the dissemination of courses, activities and the role of the IF.
