Abstract

The purpose of this article is to report an experience of scientific dissemination and university extension. The experience was carried out in the form of lives, through a channel on YouTube®, in this case, "Geotecnologias na Rede". At first, researchers and researchers who work in public institutions of higher education in the country were invited. Then, the events were publicized. Students were asked to share their lives with family and friends, preferably those who do not attend university, and later the analysis of the participants' satisfaction took place. The results showed that at the synchronous moment of the transmissions the average audience was 70 people, however, after its realization, this value reached more than 400 views, that is, an increase of more than 5 times after the synchronous moment. This reveals that the actions continue to be prestigious and how they were recorded, but spectators will be reached. The satisfaction analysis showed that 44.4% rated the activities with the highest score and 29.6% rated it with a score of nine.
