PERCEPÇÕES DE ESTUDANTES DO CURSO DE FISIOTERAPIA SOBRE A TERRITORIALIZAÇÃO NO PROCESSO DE FORMAÇÃO EM SAÚDE

Objective: to analyze the perceptions of physiotherapy course students about territorialization in the health education process. Methodology: this is a qualitative and descriptive study, carried out during the supervised physical therapy internship in primary care that took place in Basic Health Units in the municipality of Chapecó/Santa Catarina. The internship was carried out by the Community University of the Region of Chapecó- Unochapecó. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire with the students of the internship, in the months of September and October 2021. The questionnaire consisted of questions about the recognition of the territory, acquired knowledge, contributions to the academic training process. Data analysis took place through the relationships established between the questionnaire, field diary and literature. Results: the study was carried out with physical therapy students who demonstrated the importance of understanding the context of the population, recognizing the strengths and weaknesses in health and approximation with the current health system. Final considerations: the recognition of the health territory is a potentiating tool for health education, with concrete experiences and practices, which makes it possible to know the health realities of each population and broaden the perspective of future professionals.
